I leave for college in like 30 days. Most of the people I call friends don't even communicate with me or any other of our "friends". Have we grown beyond each other and just don't agree any on anything anymore? Or is it that we're trying to rewrite or recreate our image before we pack up our lives and go to college? Sometimes look back on my childhood and see how easy life was back when we didn't have to make life changing decisions. Sometimes I wish life were that easy, but how fun would life be if we weren't thrown curve balls everyday of our existence? I like the fact that I'm beginning to know who I am, even if I'm not exactly sure that I like some activities or movies that I happen to be doing at the time. I do know that I love Camp Luther, kayaking, family- no matter how much they irritate me, my job at a local swimming pool, friends I meet at Camp Luther and on my everyday journey through this life, and how excited I am to be learning new things about myself every single day for the rest of my life. I don't have the next few years planned out and my major will probably change multiple times, but I'm happy to know that most of my choices have been the correct ones and I hope and pray that I can continue to make great choices that will have a positive outlook in my life.
